A Word on "ADD" and Organizing "ADD", Attention Deficit Disorder; has been recognized by many organizers. I once worked for someone who was diagnosed with ADD, as was her father and her son. Once she grasped the process to get organized and set up files, she went on her way. One of the things that we did, since her son had the same diagnosis, was to set up files for him as well as his sister. This way, they would learn how to organize files and minimize frustration later, by learning how to do this early on. One of the situations that can occur to all of us is that if you are not taught how to organize paper, you will have difficulty at every turn. We are usually taught how to organize our household, or we have someone working for us that help to keep us organized. The problem comes in when you are set with doing the task yourself. Not knowing any organizational processes makes this task overwhelming, almost unbearable. Sure, we all pay bills, and have a file for them – or do we?
